Educational program

The program is aimed at training highly qualified specialists - bibliographers and librarians who have the skills to work with a reference and bibliographic apparatus, who are able to introduce and use technical and automated means of searching, processing and distributing information in the context of the digitalization of society.

ON1 To form humanistic values, a safe lifestyle, financial literacy, impeccable tact in communicating with the reader and the use of research methods.

ON2 To carry out work on ensuring bibliographic processes based on the normative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the charter of the library, theory and practice of library and information business. Manage the work of libraries on the basis of management and marketing at various levels, developing and implementing current and long-term plans, regulatory and other documentation, organize library events

ON3 To participate in scientific research in the field of bibliography and book studies, participates in the implementation of research results based on theoretical knowledge.

ON4 Perform work on issuing bibliographic references at the request of the library user in stationary and remote modes.

ON5 Edit the voiced materials, adapting them to new conditions and technologies based on archiver programs, digitization of audio materials, using modern audio book recording technologies.

ON 6 Convert audio materials into digital format and adapt them into an accessible digital format for children and blind users, possess communication skills for a librarian.

ON 7 To prepare and study materials, to sound texts based on creativity and innovative thinking, to improve dictation skills

ON 8 Demonstrate the skills of scientific conservation and preservation of the library fund on the basis of entomological examination of funds, systematic visual inspection of documents on compliance with temperature and humidity, light, sanitary and hygienic regimes

ON 9 To carry out bibliographic and information-analytical activities in the library for planning the work of a structural unit based on library science, bibliography, documentation, computer science, state policy in the field of culture, science and education, normative legal acts and methodological instructional documents on library and information activities, intellectual property protection, personal data.

ON10 Analyze sociological, psychological, pedagogical and marketing research in the field of librarianship; Organize exhibitions that reveal the library fund and other information resources in traditional and digital format using the basics of record keeping and archival business, regulatory legalacts, regulations, instructions, other guidance materials and documents on archival management.

ON11 To convert printed documents into an electronic format and use electronic document delivery technologies using methods of configuration, installation, configuration and maintenance of LAN and server equipment of the library based on artificial intelligence

ON12 Organize methodological support and coordination of methodological activities analyzes the state of bibliographic activities in the field, have the skills to carry out restoration work of library documents on a paper and cardboard basis with minor damage, with structural violations and without structural changes
