training highly qualified specialists in the field of sports psychology. Training provides knowledge on the psychological support of the training of athletes (and coaches) for sports competitions; the resolution of complex and conflict situations in training and competitive activities; training coaches in team building skills in various sports, shaping behavior aimed at achieving high sports results.

Upon completion of this educational program, students are expected to be able to:
1. Explain the principles and methods of psychological intervention in sports organizations, understand the range of ethical issues in the psychological practice of a sports psychologist, understand the methodological similarities and differences of existing theoretical and practical directions in sports psychology
2. Demonstrate knowledge of sports psychology, determine the main directions of psychological and pedagogical support of sports practice, analyze the scientific foundations of modern sports psychodiagnostics, self-regulation and mental hygiene
3. Use knowledge of the methodological foundations of psychology, especially the principles of psychological intervention, the interpretation and preparation of a psychological report, the solution of ethical issues in psychology, as well as being able to synthesize new knowledge
4. Apply skills for the formation of an optimal psychological climate in a sports team
5. To carry out an independent prediction of the results of the activities of athletes based on the psychological properties of their personality.
6. Apply knowledge of the gender and cultural components of the problems of psychological intervention and psychological practice in sports, analyze cross-cultural problems in psychological research
7. To assess the significance of the influence of the personal qualities of the psychologist researcher-practitioner on the results of research in sports practice
8. Systematically present and apply methods of psychological preparation in sports when solving problems of training and competitive activity
9. To determine statistical methods in the processing of psychological data; formulate hypotheses and draw up a program of psychological research in sports, be able to describe and interpret psychological data, develop and implement independent original projects, using modern psychological tools;
10. Argued thinking, creatively and independently, correctly and articulately formulate, and describe professional information in forms and styles suitable for the audiences and purposes it serves
11. To critically evaluate and objectively describe their professional activities and the work of their colleagues.
12. Build high-performance professional communication, competently and clearly communicate their findings and knowledge to specialists and non-specialists.
