Educational program
Training of highly qualified scientific personnel in the field of Oriental studies, with professional competencies, values, creative and leadership qualities in the scientific and pedagogical direction in the field of humanities, using digital technologies, innovative methods of information processing, capable of conducting scientific work based on the modern methodology of Oriental science, engaging in research and educational activities and capable of identifying and solving scientific and practical problems of Oriental studies, who will be in demand on the labor market as a diplomatic worker, an employee of the national security and defense system, an expert analyst, a consultant, a consultant on regional processes in the countries of the East, a foreign policy observer, a translator (translator-referent) in relevant Eastern languages, a teacher of regional studies in higher educational institutions, research assistant in research centers and institutes.
LO 1. Analyze the trends of modern oriental science, various theories, concepts and approaches, promising areas of research based on modern methodology, innovative methods of information processing.
LO 2. Use scientific material in your research using methods of analysis, synthesis, systematic and comparative approaches.
LO 3. Assess the prospects for the development of scientific trends, scientific research, scientific and methodological works using digital technologies and innovative pedagogical technologies in modern historiographical and retrospective methods of analysis.
LO 4 Conduct interdisciplinary research to obtain reliable scientific results, using appropriate methods and modern approaches.
LO 5. Conduct scientific and analytical reviews on various subject areas of Oriental studies based on interdisciplinary research in interpreting cultural, historical, linguistic discourses, as well as in understanding Eastern and other cultures and identities in the past and/or present.
LO 6. Assess the representativeness of various types of sources using source analysis and synthesis.
LO 7 Prepare scientific publications within the framework of research projects and programs in Oriental studies using modern innovative methodology, incl. in a foreign language with a high citation index.
LO 8 Develop methodological support in the humanities, textbooks, teaching aids, teaching aids using digital technologies.
Educational programs of doctoral studies
Persons entering doctoral studies (PhD) submit the following package of documents:
when applying to organizations of university and postgraduate education:
1) an application addressed to the head of the organization of higher and postgraduate education (in any form);
2) a document on education (original, when submitting documents to the selection committee);
3) identity document (required for personal identification);
4) official certificate of passing the state language exam (KAZTEST) issu
