Educational program

The purpose of the educational program. The program is aimed at training in-demand film and media personnel capable of creating a creative product using creative skills.

ON1) Have cognitive skills, including research methods, professional terminology (including international), the basics of financial literacy, the legal foundations of anti-corruption, the basics of entrepreneurship, and know the history of science and philosophy;
ON2) Have practical directing and screenwriting skills, using a variety of means of artistic expression;
ON3) Have basic camerawork skills, having mastered visual compositions, the art of lighting and the basics of camera and lenses;
ON4) Know the basics of sound engineering and sound design;
ON5) Create creative works of drama, using all the means of artistic expression in cinema; identify the specifics of the Kazakh film industry;
ON6) To distinguish between relevant types of content for production, based on the requests of viewers; evaluate the creative and commercial potential of the project; navigate the media market;
ON7 Have skills in organizing the main three stages of the production of films and other media products, namely the pre-production, production and post-production (editing and color grading stage);
ON8) Know the basics of the production designer's skills, including working with color, scenery, props and with the film crew;
ON9) Analyze the plot of films, characters and make analitical and creative material based on them;
ON10) Know the types of film editing and the basics of color correction;
ON11) To know the history and theory of cinema, analyzing the peculiarities of the development of cinema in different regions of the world;
ON12) Analyze and improve the methods of directing and screenwriting, including the development of a unique vision of the director, new methods of working with actors and crew, and skills in writing multi-layered plots, elaborate characters, dialogues with subtext and a story with a central idea.
