Training of qualified historians with knowledge of the foreign language, who have systematic research competencies in the field of world history and practical skills in the language field for research, organizational and managerial, expert-analytical, cultural and educational activities
ON1. to carry out the popularization of objects of material and spiritual culture and the achievements of human society, using the philosophical foundations of Kazakh philosophers, methods of searching for scientific information, its systematization and analysis to obtain the objective content of humanitarian knowledge
ON2. explain the conceptual and terminological apparatus in the subject area of world history in order to assess the essence of theories of historical knowledge and the historical process and understand the essence of the methods of historical science
ON3. interpret the historical processes of ancient, medieval, modern, recent history of the countries of Europe, America, Asia and establish cause-and-effect relationships of regional and local consequences of historical events using the methodology of history and modern electronic text corpora, databases, bibliographies, electronic dictionaries and other information and communication technologies
ON4. correlate the phenomena and events of the historical past with the general paradigm of the global historical development and linguistic features of the regions, classifying social phenomena and processes based on general scientific and specialized methods
ON5. interpret socio-cultural processes and phenomena, the facts of world history and the history of Kazakhstan based on the knowledge of their nature and the specifics of interaction at the subject and interdisciplinary level and based on the analysis of scientific literature in a foreign language;
ON6. critically evaluate and analyze the processes, facts of world history based on the knowledge of a foreign language and the relevant principles and methods of world history and source studies
ON7. apply the ability to analyze and synthesize information in a foreign language from various sources, taking into account the characteristics of the regions of foreign countries;
ON8. demonstrate the skills of analyzing regional systemic knowledge in Western and Eastern languages on the ancient, medieval, modern, recent history of the countries of the West and East at the present stage within the framework of the multidisciplinary development of international relations
ON9. critically analyze and interpret the scientific text, historical documents, scientific concepts that explain the unity and diversity of historical processes
ON10. create systematic analytical and expert, reference and review, program and information materials in the humanitarian field using modern cognition methodology and language skills of English and one Western or one Eastern language
