Educational program
Training of highly qualified personnel to work in the field of ecology, environmental authorities, companies engaged in water supply and sanitation, energy companies and waste management companies, engineering firms and research and production institutions.
ON 1. Interpret current trends, trends and patterns of development of domestic science in the study of environmental problems;
ON 2. Improve energy and resource saving methods in the field of engineering biotechnology and environmental engineering.
ON 3. Analyze the causes of environmental problems, find solutions in the field of environmental planning, environmental protection, nature protection and health.
ON 4. Introduce the latest technological developments for their effective use for the purpose of bioremediation of the environment.
ON 5. Critically evaluate the procedural foundations of important methods of water and wastewater treatment, biotechnological processes, treatment of biological waste (aerobic and anaerobic) and related environmental chemicals and their analytical determination.
ON 6. Interpret the modern methodology of research in the field of ecological bioengineering and to develop measures to protect the environment for enterprises of various profiles.
ON 7. Improve environmental monitoring and control systems at work and solve applied tasks in professional activities.
ON 8. Review scientific articles, as well as to present the results of their own research in articles in order to publish them in the open press.
ON 9. Use new approaches, effective forms, methods and means of teaching, taking into account the individual needs of students.
Educational programs of doctoral studies

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) qualification in 8D05112 – Environmental Bioengineering prepares graduates for successful careers in the following areas: • Research: designing, planning, and conducting original experimental studies in environmental bioengineering, sustainable resource management, pollution control, and related areas using modern research methods. • Industrial and technological sectors: developing innovative technologies and environmentally sustainable solutions with applications in waste management, renewable energy, water treatment, soil remediation, and other areas addressing pressing environmental challenges. • Education: teaching at higher education institutions in environmental sciences and bioengineering, employing innovative pedagogical approaches and digital technologies in the learning process. • Organizational and managerial roles: leading scientific or industrial teams, developing strategic plans for enterprises, research institutes, and organizations in the fields of environmental, biological, and biotechnological industries. • Expert and consulting roles: evaluating scientific projects, research outcomes, publications, and regulatory documents in the fields of environmental science, biotechnology, and higher education.
