Social projects
Comprehensive programs implemented at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University aimed at fostering youth’s personal growth, spiritual and moral development, and strengthening social solidarity within the community. These projects enhance students’ social engagement and are aligned with the university’s sustainable development strategy and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University implements a series of socially significant projects aimed at enhancing students’ civic responsibility, strengthening their social engagement, and fostering a culture of sustainable development.
These initiatives are carried out under the following directions: “Farabi UniCalm”, “Farabi Greencampus”, “Farabi Equal Steps”, “Farabi UniSport”, “Farabi UniHelp”, “Farabi LawSmart”, “Farabi BookWave”, “Farabi SocialStartUni”, “Farabi NoBribe”, “Farabi Strong”, and “Farabi CultureStep.”
The projects are designed to ensure the comprehensive development of students, unlocking their spiritual, social, and professional potential. Each initiative promotes youth leadership, proactivity, and civic engagement, while contributing to the development of the university as a socially responsible, environmentally conscious, inclusive, and safe institution.
The content of these projects fully aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and corresponds to the university’s strategic development priorities. Through these programs, KazNU students channel their potential toward the benefit of society, shaping an active civic position and readiness to address modern global challenges.
