1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1 This Regulation defines the principles for organizing the activities of the Academic Committee for the Quality of Education and Teaching at the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
1.2 This Regulation is a document of the quality management system of the faculty.
1.3 The Academic Committee is a collegial administrative and executive body of management, which in its activities is guided by the current regulatory legal acts in the field of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the regulatory documents of the university.
1.3. The Academic Committee is called upon to carry out comprehensive monitoring and support of the educational policy of the faculty.
1.4. The Academic Committee in its activities is accountable to the Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Director of the Department for Academic Affairs.
1.5. The Academic Committee is an independent structure.
2. TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
The following terms and definitions are used in this Regulation:
A process is a set of interrelated and interacting activities that transform inputs into outputs.
Credit technology of education - training based on the choice and independent planning by students of the sequence of studying disciplines using credit as a unified unit for measuring the volume of educational work of the student and teacher.
Educational program (hereinafter referred to as EP) is a training program that includes a set of training modules aimed at mastering key competencies by students.
The quality of education is an integral characteristic of the education system, reflecting the degree of compliance of actual educational results achieved with regulatory requirements, social and personal expectations.
Quality monitoring is an independent, documented process of objective quality assessment in order to determine the degree of compliance with monitoring criteria.
Learning outcomes are a set of competencies that express what exactly the trainee will understand or be able to do at the end of the learning process.
Ensuring the quality of education is the process of creating conditions conducive to the quality of education (provision of educational resources, infrastructure, curricula and program).
Guarantee - objectively and reasonably evaluate the results of education and thereby guarantee its quality level.
Quality improvement is a systematic activity of the university, aimed at continuous improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of processes.
Conditions for the implementation of the educational program - a set of personnel, material and technical, educational and methodological, informational, financial and social support of the educational process.
The key competencies of a university graduate are systemic thinking (critical, strategic) - creativity, communication (intersectoral, informational), multiculturalism and openness, project and process management, flexibility, awareness, objective assessment and decision making, creativity, readiness to accept new things.
Quality indicators - a guiding principle for improving quality, has the function of measuring, signaling the quality of the educational process.
Categories of quality indicators: quantitative, qualitative, input, process indicators, output, strategic, actions.
Culture of quality - quality is consciously introduced into the daily activities of the faculty. The faculty evaluates its own practice against external requirements and contributes to the improvement of staff training
SWOT analysis is a method of strategic planning, which consists in identifying factors of the internal and external environment of the organization
Student-centered learning is both a way of thinking and a culture within the faculty and is characterized by innovative teaching methods that aim to promote learning in interaction with faculty and other students, as well as the perception of students as active participants in their own learning.
3 PURPOSE AND MAIN OBJECTIVES
3.1. The purpose of the activity of the Academic Committee for the Quality of Learning and Teaching is to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the educational process at the faculty, taking into account the specifics of training specialists.
3.2. The main tasks of the Academic Committee for the quality of education and teaching at the faculty include:
- the complexity of planning and management of educational activities, which is provided by a system of principles aimed at improving the quality of education in order to comply with international standards of higher and postgraduate education;
- support and development of academic traditions and innovations in education;
- realization of the right of students to participate in the management of the educational process in order to ensure the protection of the rights of students in obtaining a quality education, as well as in assisting the faculty in solving the upcoming tasks of preparing competitive graduates;
- improved and updated

1.2. The academic committee at the faculty is a collegial administrative and executive body of management, which in its activities is guided by the current regulatory legal acts in the field of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the regulatory documents of the university.
1.3. Academic Committee - designed to carry out comprehensive monitoring and implementation of the Academic policy of the university at the faculty.
1.4. The academic committee at the faculty is an independent structure.
1.5. The Academic Committee in its activities is accountable to the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Director of the Department of Academic Affairs of the University.

3. PURPOSE AND MAIN OBJECTIVES
3.1. The purpose of the activity of the Academic Committee for the Quality of Education at the Faculty of GI PP is to increase the efficiency and ensure the quality of the educational process at the departments of the faculty.
3.2. The main tasks of the Academic Committee for the Quality of Education at the Faculty of GIPP include:
- the complexity of planning and managing educational activities, which is based on the principles of modernization and compliance with international standards of higher and postgraduate education;
- introduction of innovations and further development of academic traditions in education;
- realization of the right of students to participate in the management of the educational process in order to ensure the democratization of the educational process, the realization of the rights of students to receive a quality education, in solving the problems of preparing competitive graduates;
- improvement and constant updating of the content, motivational and value
- implementation of educational programs based on the synthesis of educational and research activities in order to improve the scientific content of educational programs and unlock the research potential of the personality of a specialist prepared for productive research activities;
- implementation of a program of interaction with employers on the formation of targeted practical training of specialists.
4. FUNCTIONS
4.1. Academic Committee for the Quality of Education at the Faculty of GIPP:
• examines and evaluates the quality of the educational process at the faculty at three levels: bachelor's, master's, doctoral studies (design, planning, organization, provision) and makes appropriate recommendations to all authorized departments of the faculty;
• monitors the implementation of recommendations, as well as monitoring educational activities.
4.2. The Academic Committee considers issues of academic integrity.
4.3. The Academic Committee considers the results of monitoring the progress of students in educational programs to develop proposals for improving the quality of teaching disciplines.
4.4. The Academic Committee analyzes reports on monitoring student satisfaction with the quality of teaching in a particular educational program.
4.5. Decisions of the Academic Committee of the Faculty of Guy PP on issues of violation of academic honesty are the basis for the application of disciplinary and administrative measures.
5. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE, RIGHTS
5.1. The personal composition of the Academic Committee is approved by the decision of the Academic Council of the faculty from experienced teachers with scientific and methodological work experience of at least 10-15 years, employers, students and graduates. Students must make up at least 20% of the total composition of the Committee.
5.2. Employees of the University, faculty holding leadership positions, cannot be members of the Academic Committee.
5.3. Participation in the work of the Academic Committee is voluntary.
5.4. The composition of the Academic Committee is approved for a period of at least 2 years with the possibility of replacing the members of the committee and including new members, if necessary, on the proposal of the Academic Council of the faculty.
5.5. The Chairman of the Academic Committee is elected from among the members of the committee by a general vote of all its members.
5.6. To keep minutes of the meetings of the Academic Committee, a secretary is appointed from among its members.
5.7. Candidates for members of the Academic Committee are approved at a meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty by open voting.
5.8. The issues of the quality of education at the meetings of the Academic Committee are discussed as necessary, but at least once a semester.
5.9. The Academic Committee carries out its activities in accordance with the work plan approved by the Academic Council of the Faculty for the academic year. 5.10. Meetings of the Academic Committee for the quality of education at the faculty are documented in minutes.
5.11. The report on the work of the Academic Committee of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management is submitted to the Academic Council of the Faculty at least once a year.
5.12. The Academic Committee of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management interacts with structural divisions of the Faculty, third-party organizations and institutions within the framework of various activities of the Committee, if necessary to solve the tasks and functions assigned to the Committee.
5.13. The Academic Committee of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management is responsible for the objectivity and quality of decisions made.
5.14. The Academic Committee of the Faculty of GIPP has the right to:
– submit for consideration by the Academic Council issues related to the activities of the Committee;
- come up with proposals to the dean of the faculty, organizations, associations on issues within the jurisdiction of the Committee;
– request the necessary certificates and documents for the activities of the Academic Committee of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management;
–participate in the assessment of the quality of the educational process at the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management;
- give recommendations on improving the quality of educational programs, educational and methodological complexes of educational programs and disciplines, classes, forms and methods of teaching;
– hear reports of the heads of structural divisions at their meetings;
- appoint and conduct an examination and create commissions for various types of audit;

2. OBJECTIVES AND MAIN OBJECTIVES
2.1. The purpose of the activity of the Academic Committee on the Quality of Education of the Faculty is to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the educational process at the faculties of the university.
2.2. The main tasks of the Academic Committee on the Quality of Education of the Faculty include:
- the complexity of planning and management of educational activities is ensured by a system of principles aimed at its modernization in order to meet international standards of higher and post-graduate education;
- development of academic traditions and innovations in education;
- implementation of the right of students to participate in the management of the educational process in order to ensure the protection of the rights of students to receive quality education, as well as to assist the faculty in solving the tasks facing them in preparing competitive graduates;
- improvement and renewal of content, motivational, value components of educational programs as a means of purposeful formation of a competitive graduate-specialist, ready for constant professional growth, social and professional mobility;
- the implementation of educational programs based on the synthesis of educational and research activities as a means of improving the scientific content of educational programs and as a mandatory condition for revealing the scientific research potential of a specialist, ready for productive research activities;
- implementation of the program of interaction with employers on the issues of targeted training of specialists.

3.1. Academic committee on the quality of education of the faculty:
• reviews and evaluates the quality of the educational process at the faculty at three levels: bachelor's, master's, doctoral (design, planning, organization, maintenance) and makes appropriate recommendations to all authorized structural divisions of the university;
• develops recommendations;
• monitors implementation of recommendations, as well as monitoring of educational activities.
3.2. The Academic Committee considers issues of academic integrity.
3.3. The academic committee reviews the results of monitoring the progress of students in educational programs with the aim of developing proposals for improving the quality of teaching disciplines.
3.4. The academic committee reviews the report on monitoring the satisfaction of students with the educational program and the quality of teaching.
3.5. Decisions of the Academic Committee on violations of academic honesty serve as the basis for applying disciplinary and administrative measures.
4. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE, LAW

4.5. A secretary is appointed from among its members to keep minutes of meetings of the Academic Committee.
4.6. Candidates for members of the Academic Committee are approved by open voting at the meeting of the Academic Council of the faculty.
4.7. Issues of educational quality are discussed at meetings of the Academic Committee as necessary.
4.8. Sessions of the Academic Committee on the Quality of Education of the Faculty are drawn up with protocols.
4.9. The Academic Committee cooperates with structural divisions of the Faculty, external organizations and institutions within the framework of various types of activities of the Committee, if it is necessary to solve the tasks and functions assigned to the Committee.
4.10. The academic committee is responsible for the objectivity and quality of decisions.
4.11. The academic committee has the right to:
- submit questions related to the activities of the Committee to the Academic Council for consideration;
- come up with proposals to the dean's faculty, organizations, associations on issues related to the management of the Committee;
- request the necessary certificates and documents for the activities of the Academic Committee;
- to assist and participate in the evaluation of the quality of the educational process at the faculty;
- give recommendations on improving the quality of educational programs, educational and methodological complexes of educational programs and disciplines, occupations, forms and methods of training;
- listen to the reports of the heads of structural divisions at their meetings;
- do not accept for consideration and return for processing poorly and negligently prepared documents.
‒ to appoint and carry out an examination and create a commission for different types of audit;
‒ to demand the necessary documents from any teacher of the department, employee of the dean's office, any employee of the university within the scope of his competence;
‒ attract teachers to carry out individual assignments.

1.4. The Committee is responsible for comprehensive monitoring and support of the educational policy of the faculty.
1.5. The Committee is accountable in its activities to the Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Director of the Department for Academic Affairs.
1.6. The Committee is an independent structure.

- Development of academic traditions and innovations in education.
- Implementation of students' rights to participate in the management of the educational process, aiming to protect their rights to obtain quality education and contribute to the faculty in preparing competitive graduates.
- Improvement and updating of the content, motivational, and value components of educational programs as a means of purposeful formation of competitive graduates who are ready for continuous professional growth, social and professional mobility.
- Implementation of educational programs based on the synthesis of educational and research activities as a means of improving the scientific content of educational programs and as a mandatory condition for revealing the research potential of a specialist, prepared for productive research activities.
- Implementation of programs for interaction with employers regarding targeted training of specialists.

3.1. The Academic Committee for Education Quality at the faculty:
- Considers and assesses the quality of the educational process at the faculty at three levels: bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs (design, planning, organization, and support) and provides corresponding recommendations to all authorized structural units of the university.
- Develops recommendations.
- Monitors the implementation of recommendations and monitors educational activities.
3.2. The Committee addresses issues of academic integrity.
3.3. The Committee reviews the results of monitoring the academic performance of students in educational programs in order to develop proposals for improving the quality of teaching disciplines.
3.4. The Committee reviews reports on monitoring student satisfaction with the quality of teaching in the educational program.
3.5. Decisions of the Committee on academic integrity violations serve as a basis for the application of disciplinary and administrative measures.
4. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE, RIGHTS
4.1. The personnel of the faculty's Committee are formed from experienced teachers who have at least 10-15 years of scientific, pedagogical, and methodological experience. The composition of the Committee is approved by the decision of the Faculty Council. Participation in the Committee's work is voluntary.
4.2. The Chairman of the Committee is elected by all its members through a general vote.
4.3. A secretary is appointed from among the members of the Committee to keep the minutes of the Committee's meetings.
4.4. The candidates for Committee members are approved by an open vote at the Faculty Council meeting.
4.5. Quality of education matters are discussed at the Committee's meetings as needed but no less than once per semester.
4.6. Meetings of the Academic Committee for Education Quality at the faculty are documented through minutes.
4.7. The Committee interacts with the structural units of the faculty, external organizations, and institutions within the scope of various activities of the Committee, if necessary to fulfill the tasks and functions assigned to the Committee.
4.8. The Committee is responsible for the objectivity and quality of the decisions made.
4.9. The Committee has the right to:
- Submit matters related to the Committee's activities for consideration by the Faculty Council.
- Make suggestions to the Dean of the faculty, organizations, and associations on matters pertaining to the Committee's responsibilities.
- Request necessary information and documents for the Committee's activities.
- Contribute to and participate in the assessment of the quality of the educational process at the faculty.
- Provide recommendations on improving the quality of educational programs, educational and methodological complexes of educational programs and disciplines, classes, forms, and methods of teaching.
- Hear reports from the heads of structural units at its meetings.
- Refuse to consider and return poorly prepared documents for revision.
Members of the Committee have the right to:
- Make suggestions for improving all aspects of the educational process.
- Appoint and conduct audits and establish commissions for various types of audits.
- Demand necessary documents from any faculty member, department staff, or university employee within their competence.
- Engage teachers to fulfill specific assignments.

1.4. The Committee (ACQE) is responsible for comprehensive monitoring and support of the educational policy of the Law Faculty.
1.5. The Committee is accountable to the Member of the Board, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and the Director of the Department for Academic Affairs.

3.1. The objective of the Academic Committee for the Quality of Education is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the educational process at the Law Faculty, taking into account the specificity of preparing specialists for judicial bodies, law enforcement agencies, justice organizations, legal services of civil society institutions, and the higher legal education system.
3.2. The main tasks of the Academic Committee for Education Quality at the Faculty of Law include:

Ensuring comprehensive planning and management of educational activities through a system of principles aimed at improving the quality of legal education to meet international standards of higher and postgraduate education.

Supporting and fostering academic traditions and innovations in legal education.

Implementing students' rights to participate in educational process management to ensure the protection of students' rights in receiving quality education and to assist the Faculty of Law in addressing the challenges of preparing competitive graduates for government service, law enforcement agencies, and judicial bodies.

Enhancing and updating the substantive, motivational, and value components of educational programs as a means of purposefully developing competitive graduate specialists in law, who are ready for continuous professional growth, social and professional mobility.

Implementing educational programs based on the synthesis of educational and research activities as a means of improving the scientific content of educational programs and as a mandatory condition for unlocking the research potential of legal specialists, who are prepared for productive research activities.

Implementing programs of cooperation with employers on targeted training of high-level legal specialists, particularly with employers in the law enforcement sphere, judicial system, justice, and executive bodies at all levels
4. FUNCTIONS
4.1. The Academic Committee for Education Quality at the Faculty of Law:

Reviews and evaluates the quality of the educational process at the Faculty of Law at three levels: bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs (design, planning, organization, and provision) and provides corresponding recommendations to all authorized structural units of the university.

Develops recommendations.

Monitors the implementation of recommendations as well as monitoring educational activities.
4.2. The Committee addresses issues of academic integrity.
4.3. The Committee reviews the performance monitoring results of students enrolled in the "Jurisprudence" educational programs in order to develop proposals for improving the quality of teaching disciplines.
4.4. The Committee reviews reports on monitoring student satisfaction with the quality of teaching in the "Jurisprudence" educational program.
4.5. Decisions of the Committee on matters of academic integrity serve as a basis for applying disciplinary and administrative measures.
5. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE, RIGHTS
5.1. The composition of the Committee is approved by the decision of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Law and consists of experienced teachers with at least 10-15 years of scientific and methodological work experience, employers, students, and graduates. Students should constitute no less than 20% of the total composition of the Committee.
5.2. Employees holding managerial positions at the Faculty of Law cannot be members of the Committee.
5.3. Participation in the Committee's work is voluntary.
5.4. The composition of the Committee is approved for a period of not less than 2 years, with the possibility of replacing members and including new members as necessary, based on the presentation of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Law.
5.5. The Chairperson of the Committee is elected by the members of the Committee through a general vote.
5.6. A secretary is appointed from among the members of the Committee to keep minutes of the meetings.
5.7. The membership of the Committee is approved during a meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Law through an open vote.
5.8. Quality education issues are discussed at Committee meetings as needed, but no less than once per semester.

4.3. The Committee reviews the results of monitoring the academic performance of students in educational programs in order to develop proposals for improving the quality of teaching disciplines.

4.5. Decisions of the Committee regarding violations of academic integrity serve as a basis for applying disciplinary and administrative measures.

5.1. The personnel composition of the Committee is approved by the decision of the Academic Council of Al-Farabi Business School, consisting of experienced teachers, employers, students, and graduates.
5.2. Employees of the business school holding managerial positions cannot be members of the Committee.
5.3. Participation in the work of the Committee is voluntary.
5.4. The composition of the Committee is approved for a period of at least 2 years, with the possibility of replacing committee members and including new members as necessary, upon the recommendation of the Academic Council of the business school.
5.5. The Chairman of the Committee is elected by all members of the committee through a general vote.
5.6. A secretary is appointed from among the members of the Committee to keep records of the Committee's meetings.
5.7. The candidacy of the Committee members is approved during a meeting of the Academic Council of the business school through an open vote.

1. The Academic Committee consists of a chairperson, members, and a secretary.
2. The Chairperson of the Committee is approved by an open vote at a meeting of the Faculty Council.
3. The Chairperson is directly responsible for overseeing the activities of the Committee.
4. The Chairperson provides guidance and coordination of the Committee's activities. A secretary is appointed from among the members of the Committee to keep minutes of the meetings.
Candidates for Committee membership are approved by an open vote at a meeting of the Faculty Council.
The composition of the Committee is approved for a period of not less than 2 years, with the possibility of replacing Committee members and including new members based on the recommendation of the Faculty Council.
5. The Committee's work is carried out in accordance with the annual work plan adopted at the faculty's academic council meeting. The formation of the annual work plan is done taking into account the university's development program.
6. Committee meetings are held no less than once a month in accordance with the annual work plan.
7. The secretary ensures the organizational preparation, agenda formation, and coordination of the Committee's meetings, informing the members at least 7 calendar days before the start of the meeting.
8. Recommendations of the Committee are adopted and documented by a majority vote of the attending members based on the issues discussed during the Committee's meetings.
9. Each member must attend all Committee meetings, actively participate, and timely fulfill assigned tasks.
10. A Committee meeting is considered valid if at least two-thirds of its members are present.

5.9. The Academic Committee interacts with the structural units of the faculty, external organizations, and institutions within the scope of its various activities, if necessary to fulfill the tasks and functions assigned to the committee.
5.10. The Academic Committee is responsible for the objectivity and quality of the decisions made.
5.11. The Academic Committee has the right to:
- submit issues related to the committee's activities for consideration by the Faculty Council;
- make proposals to the dean of the faculty, organizations, and associations on matters related to the committee's responsibilities;
- request necessary certificates and documents for the activities of the Academic Committee;
- contribute to and participate in the assessment of the quality of the educational process at the faculty;
- provide recommendations on improving the quality of educational programs, educational and methodological complexes of educational programs and disciplines, classes, forms, and methods of teaching;
- hear reports from the heads of structural units at its meetings;
- reject and return poorly prepared and negligent documents for revision;
- appoint and conduct audits and create commissions for various types of audits;
- demand necessary documents from any faculty member, dean's office staff, or university employee within its competence;
- engage teachers to fulfill specific assignments.
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. This Regulation establishes the principles of organization of the Academic Committee for the Quality of Education and Teaching at the Higher School of Economics and Business.
1.2. The Committee is a collegial executive and administrative body that operates in accordance with the current regulatory and legal acts in the field of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the university's regulatory documents.
1.3. The Committee is responsible for comprehensive monitoring and support of the educational policy of the Higher School of Economics and Business.
1.4. The Committee is accountable to the Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and the Director of the Department for Academic Affairs in its activities.
1.5. The Committee is an independent structure.
2. TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
The following terms and definitions are used in this Regulation:
Process - a set of interconnected and interacting types of activities that transform inputs into outputs.
Credit-based learning technology - learning based on the choice and independent planning by the student of the sequence of studying disciplines using credits as a standardized unit of measurement of the workload of the student and the teacher.
Educational Program (hereinafter referred to as "EP") - a training program that includes a set of educational modules aimed at acquiring key competencies by students.
Quality of Education - an integral characteristic of the education system, reflecting the degree of compliance of actual educational outcomes with regulatory requirements, social and personal expectations.
Quality Monitoring - an independent, documented process of objective assessment of quality aimed at determining the degree of compliance with monitoring criteria.
Learning Outcomes - a set of competencies that express what the learner will understand or be able to do upon completion of the learning process.
Quality Assurance - the process of creating conditions conducive to quality education (provision of educational resources, infrastructure, curricula, and programs).
Guarantee - objectively and reasonably assess the learning outcomes and thereby guarantee their quality level.
Quality Enhancement - the systematic activity of the university aimed at continuous improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of processes.
Conditions for the Implementation of the Educational Program - a set of personnel, material and technical, educational and methodological, informational, financial, and social support for the educational process.
Key Competencies of a University Graduate - systemic thinking (critical, strategic), creativity, communication (interdisciplinary, informational), multiculturalism and openness, project and process management, flexibility, awareness, objective assessment and decision-making, ability to be innovative, readiness to embrace the new.
Quality Indicators - a guiding principle for quality improvement, serving the function of measuring and signaling the quality of the educational process.
Quality Culture - the conscious integration of quality into the daily activities of the faculty. The faculty assesses its own practice in accordance with external requirements and contributes to the improvement of personnel training.
SWOT Analysis - a strategic planning method that involves identifying internal and external factors of an organization's environment.
Student-Centered Learning - represents both a mindset and a culture within the faculty and is characterized by innovative teaching methods aimed at facilitating learning through interaction with teachers and other students, as well as perceiving students as active participants in their own learning.
4 FUNCTIONS
4.1 Academic Committee for the Quality of Education and Teaching at the Faculty:
- examines and evaluates the quality of the educational process at the School of Economics and Business at three levels: bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs (design, planning, organization, provision), and provides corresponding recommendations to all authorized structural units of the university;
- develops recommendations;
- monitors the implementation of recommendations and the educational activities.
4.2 The Committee addresses issues of academic integrity.
4.3 The Committee reviews the performance monitoring results of students in educational programs with the aim of developing proposals to enhance the quality of teaching disciplines.
4.4 The Committee reviews reports on monitoring student satisfaction with the quality of teaching in the educational program.
4.5 The decisions of the Committee regarding academic integrity violations serve as a basis for implementing disciplinary and administrative measures.
5 ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE, RIGHTS
5.1 The composition of the Committee is approved by the decision of the Academic Council of the School of Economics and Business, consisting of experienced teachers, employers, students, and graduates.
5.2 Faculty staff holding managerial positions cannot be members of the Committee.
5.3 Participation in the Committee's work is voluntary.
5.4 The composition of the Committee is approved for a period of at least 2 years, with the possibility of replacing members and including new members if necessary, as proposed by the Faculty's Academic Council.
5.5 The Chairperson of the Committee is elected by a general vote of all its members.
5.6 A secretary is appointed from among the Committee members to keep the minutes of the meetings.
5.7 The appointment of Committee members is approved by an open vote at the Faculty's Academic Council meeting.
5.8 The quality of education matters are discussed during the Committee's meetings as necessary, but no less than once per semester.
5.9 The Committee carries out its activities in accordance with the work plan approved by the Faculty's Academic Council for the academic year.
5.10 Meetings of the Academic Committee for the Quality of Education at the Faculty are documented in protocols.
5.11 The Committee's report is submitted for review to the Academic Council at least once a year.
5.12 The Committee interacts with the Faculty's structural units, external organizations, and institutions within the scope of its various activities, if necessary to fulfill the tasks and functions assigned to the Committee.
5.13 The Committee is responsible for the objectivity and quality of its decisions.
5.14 The Committee has the right to:
- submit matters related to the Committee's activities for consideration by the Academic Council of the School of Economics and Business;
- make proposals to the Dean of the School of Economics and Business, organizations, and associations on matters related to the Committee's responsibilities;
- request necessary information and documents for the Committee's activities;
- facilitate and participate in the evaluation of the quality of the educational process at the School of Economics and Business;
- provide recommendations on improving the quality of educational programs, educational and methodological complexes of educational programs and disciplines, class sessions, and forms and methods of teaching;
- hear reports from heads of structural units at its meetings;
- refuse to consider and return poorly prepared documents for revision;
- make suggestions for improving all aspects of the educational process;
- appoint and conduct audits and establish commissions for various types of audits;
- request necessary documents from any department faculty, dean's office staff, or university staff within its competence;
- involve faculty members to fulfill specific assignments.

2. GOAL AND MAIN OBJECTIVES
2.1. The goal of the Academic Committee for the Quality of Education and Teaching at the faculty is to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the educational process at the university's faculties.
2.2. The main objectives of the Academic Committee for the Quality of Education and Teaching at the faculty include:
- Comprehensive planning and management of educational activities, ensuring its modernization to comply with international standards of higher and postgraduate education.
- Development of academic traditions and innovations in education.
- Implementation of students' rights to participate in educational process management to ensure the protection of their rights in receiving quality education and to assist the faculty in addressing the tasks of preparing competitive graduates.
- Improvement and updating of the substantive, motivational, and value components of educational programs as a means of purposefully shaping a competitive graduate specialist ready for continuous professional growth, social, and professional mobility.
- Implementation of educational programs based on the synthesis of educational and research activities as a means of improving the scientific content of educational programs and as a mandatory condition for disclosing the research potential of a specialist, prepared for productive research activities.
- Implementation of programs for interaction with employers on issues related to targeted training of specialists.
3. FUNCTIONS
3.1. The Academic Committee for the Quality of Education and Teaching at the faculty:
- Reviews and evaluates the quality of the educational process at the faculty at three levels: bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs (designing, planning, organization, and provision) and provides corresponding recommendations to all authorized structural units of the university.
- Develops recommendations.
- Monitors the implementation of recommendations and educational activities.
3.2. The Committee addresses issues of academic integrity.
3.3. The Committee reviews the results of students' academic performance monitoring in educational programs to develop proposals for improving the quality of teaching disciplines.
3.4. The Committee reviews reports on monitoring student satisfaction with the quality of teaching in the educational program.
3.5. Decisions of the Committee regarding violations of academic integrity serve as a basis for applying disciplinary and administrative measures.
4. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE, POWERS
4.1. The composition of the Committee is approved by the decision of the Faculty Council, consisting of experienced teachers with a scientific and methodological work experience of at least 10-15 years, employers, students, and alumni. Students must comprise at least 20% of the total membership of the Committee.
4.2. University employees and faculty members holding managerial positions cannot be members of the Committee.
4.3. Participation in the work of the Committee is voluntary.
4.4. The composition of the Committee is approved for a period of not less than 2 years, with the possibility of replacing members and including new members if necessary, as proposed by the Faculty Council.
4.5. The Chairperson of the Committee is elected by a general vote of all its members.
4.6. A secretary is appointed from among the members of the Committee to keep minutes of the Committee meetings.
4.7. The appointment of Committee members is approved by an open vote during a meeting of the Faculty Council.
4.8. Quality of education matters are discussed during the Committee meetings as needed but no less than once per semester.
4.9. The Committee carries out its activities in accordance with the work plan approved by the Faculty Council for the academic year.

Members of the Committee have the right to:

- Appoint and conduct audits and establish commissions for various types of audits.
- Demand necessary documents from any department faculty member, dean's office employee, or any university employee within their competence.
- Engage teachers to fulfill specific tasks.
