Поступление

Приём заявлений лиц на обучение осуществляется по образовательным программам технического, профессионального и послесреднего образования, предусматривающим подготовку специалистов среднего звена.

Сроки приёма на очную форму обучения: с 25 июня по 25 августа текущего календарного года.

Rights and Responsibilities of a Student of al-Farabi KazNU College

Student Rights

A college student has the right to:

• receive quality education in accordance with the approved educational program and curriculum;

• use the college’s academic, laboratory, and information facilities (classrooms, library/e-resources, computer labs, etc.) in accordance with established procedures;

• receive consultations from instructors, methodological support, and academic guidance;

• be informed about assessment criteria, forms of academic control, and learning outcomes, and to receive explanations of grades in the prescribed manner;

• participate in scientific, creative, cultural, and sports activities of the college and the university;

• submit proposals to improve the learning process and study conditions through available feedback channels;

• obtain certificates and documents related to study in the prescribed manner;

• seek support from academic advisors/curators, the administration, psychological services (if available), and student self-governance bodies;

• be treated with respect and dignity, and be protected from discrimination.

Student Responsibilities

A college student is obliged to:

• comply with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Charter and internal regulations of the college/university, safety requirements, and internal rules;

• study conscientiously: attend classes, complete academic assignments, meet deadlines, and pass all forms of assessment and attestation;

• observe academic integrity: avoid plagiarism, cheating, document falsification, and other violations;

• treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect and follow standards of ethical communication;

• take care of the property of the college and the university and maintain order in campus facilities and in the dormitory (if residing);

• comply with occupational safety, fire safety, and sanitary requirements;

• maintain a neat, appropriate appearance consistent with the educational environment;

• promptly inform the curator/advisor or the dean’s office (academic office) of absences, and provide supporting documents when required.

Responsibility

In case of violations of internal regulations and academic integrity principles, a student may be held accountable in accordance with the applicable regulations of the college and the university.
