SDG 4: Quality Education

15 november, 2025

On November 15, 2025, at the Faculty of Biology, Senior Lecturer A.S. Bazarbayeva held an educational event dedicated to SDG 4 “Quality Education” in a teamwork format.

The students prepared Venn diagrams (Euler circles) illustrating the education systems of various countries, including the Cambridge system, the Finnish system, and the education system of Kazakhstan. Each diagram compared the key principles of the Cambridge system with those of Kazakhstan, as well as the Finnish system with the Kazakhstani system. The aim of the diagrams was to identify similarities and differences between the compared countries, and the students accomplished this task successfully.

The discussion of the presented education systems generated genuine interest among the group. Students shared their own perspectives and understanding of education, especially regarding the system in Kazakhstan.

After that, the students were asked to create clusters on the future development and improvement of the educational system. The clusters were actively discussed, and several noteworthy innovations were proposed.

The event was engaging and provided students with an opportunity to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the education systems of leading countries through the use of Venn diagrams.
