SDG №4, 10,17: Interuniversity Cooperation Aimed at Enhancing Inclusive Education
An important meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan’s leading universities in the field of inclusive education was held at Satbayev University. During the meeting, representatives of the Satbayev University “Support Center” and the director of the “Inclusive Environment” Scientific and Practical Center of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University discussed key issues related to the development of inclusive education, exchanged views, and outlined common directions for collaboration.
The main purpose of the meeting was to facilitate the exchange of experience between universities, improve inclusive education processes, establish effective mechanisms for supporting students with special educational needs, and develop joint projects.
During the discussion, the parties analyzed the current state of inclusive environments in universities and addressed issues such as psychological support, adaptation of the educational process, accessible infrastructure, and professional training. They also emphasized the importance of conducting joint research projects, training programs, and seminars in the future.
The participants highlighted that close cooperation between universities is essential for achieving high-quality outcomes in the development of inclusion. Both sides expressed their interest in further strengthening this partnership. The meeting was held in a friendly and productive atmosphere, with participants exchanging several proposals for future joint initiatives.
This dialogue represents an important step forward, giving new momentum to the development of inclusive education at the national level.
