Digitalization of Logistics: Future Skills for Modern Specialists.
On November 17, 2025, an event was held within the framework of SDG Goal No. 4 — “Quality Education,” titled “Digitalization of Logistics: Future Skills for Modern Specialists.”
The event aimed to develop students’ digital literacy and to build skills in using digital tools necessary for inventory management and the optimization of logistics processes.
Students were introduced to key digital competencies, including the use of analytical software (Excel, Google Sheets), visualization tools (Canva, Figma), educational platforms (Darlean, Coursera, Stepik), as well as the capabilities of artificial intelligence in optimizing logistics and inventory management processes.
Special attention was given to working with the Relog Transportation Management System (TMS), which enables automation of planning, routing, and operational control.
During the interactive part, students completed a practical assignment involving the calculation and planning of inventory volumes, distribution of goods among warehouses, and determining optimal delivery parameters. This exercise demonstrated how digital tools assist in making decisions aimed at reducing costs and increasing the efficiency of logistics processes.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that digital competencies and proficiency in modern logistics systems are essential for the professional training and future successful careers of logistics specialists.
