16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence
On December 6, 2025, a citywide forum was held at the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute within the framework of the "16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence" international campaign.
The Department of Russian Philology and World Literature and the Union of KazNU Women co-organized the event.
The event was moderated by Senior Lecturer S.T. Isalieva.
The jury members were:
S.B. Begalieva, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Research Professor, Director of the Center for Russian Language and Culture;
Zh.Zh. Dosmagambetova, the Vice Chairwoman of the Union of KazNU Women, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages.
The Participants noted the high level of organization, the professionalism of the experts, and the significant contribution of the forum to the development of humanitarian dialogue and the culture of a safe educational environment.
We are proud of the department's team and continue to support initiatives aimed at education, strengthening ethics, and fostering active citizenship.
