Career Guidance Session with Students of the Linguistic College Held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies

On December 11, 2025, PhD holders and senior lecturers of the Department of Chinese Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, N.B. Saparbayeva and E.A. Kerimbayev, held a career guidance meeting with students of the Linguistic College at Abylai Khan KazUIR&WL.

During the meeting, students were provided with detailed information about the prospects of studying the Chinese language, opportunities for academic and professional development, as well as the learning conditions offered by the educational programs of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The event was also attended by undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students of the Department of Chinese Studies, who shared their personal experiences of studying, research internships, and participation in academic mobility programs. Particularly noteworthy was the presence of guests from China, which gave the meeting an international dimension and allowed students to receive direct answers to their questions about the modern education system of the PRC, cultural traditions, and opportunities available to international students.

The meeting was held in an engaging and interactive format and generated significant interest among participants, strengthening their motivation to pursue further studies in the field of Chinese studies.
