Our Hearts Beat to the Rhythm of Independence
Today, a curatorial session entitled “Our Heart Beats in the Rhythm of Independence” was held for students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology under the guidance of Elmira Zulbukharova, Senior Curator of the Department of Thermal Physics and Technical Physics.
The event was dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and had a strong educational and ideological focus. Its primary aim was to foster patriotic values, civic consciousness, and respect for national sovereignty among students. The session highlighted the historical foundations of independence, the importance of preserving national identity, and the strategic role of science, education, and technical specialists in strengthening the intellectual, economic, and technological independence of the country.
Special attention was paid to patriotic education, civic responsibility, and the continuity of national values across generations. The discussion emphasized that respect for state symbols, laws, and institutions, as well as a sense of professional duty and social responsibility, are essential qualities of future specialists and a foundation for the sustainable and sovereign development of the state.
The curatorial session is closely linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in particular:

SDG 16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions” – promoting respect for state institutions, the rule of law, and the values of independence;

Such initiatives contribute to educating responsible, knowledgeable, and socially active citizens who recognize the importance of independence and sustainable development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
