Academic Staff of the Faculty of Physics and Technology Participated in a Webinar on the Application of Artificial Intelligence. SDG 4
The academic staff of the Faculty of Physics and Technology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in a professional webinar dedicated to the application of artificial intelligence tools in educational and managerial activities.
During the webinar, the capabilities of the Microsoft AI ecosystem, including Copilot and Azure AI, were presented, along with practical use cases of artificial intelligence for the automation of work processes, enhancement of management efficiency, analytics, and document management. Particular attention was paid to issues related to the prioritization of managerial tasks, team coordination, preparation of analytical reports, and decision-making supported by AI-based tools.
Participants were also introduced to current trends in artificial intelligence development, new features of Microsoft Copilot, and recommendations for their integration into professional activities in the fields of education and research. The webinar concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which useful resources for further development of digital and analytical competencies were presented.
Participation of academic staff in such professional development activities contributes to capacity building in digital technologies and artificial intelligence, the integration of modern AI tools into educational and research practices, and the advancement of the University’s digital culture. The implementation of these initiatives is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in particular SDG 4 – Quality Education, aimed at fostering innovative education and supporting the digital transformation of the academic and research environment.
