A PhD Student of the Department of Chinese Studies Conducted a Scientific Seminar on the Ideological Foundations of the “Root-Seeking” Movement in Chinese Literature

On January 30, 2026, a scientific seminar entitled “The Main Ideological Directions and Principles of the ‘Root-Seeking’ Movement in Chinese Literature” was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event was organized by Fariza Nurdildayevna Sarsembayeva, a second-year PhD student of the educational program 8D02305 – Foreign Philology.

The seminar focused on a relevant and significant topic related to the distinctive features of Chinese literature, which is of particular importance for young scholars studying Chinese language and literature.
