A roundtable discussion entitled “Looking to the Future: Financial Literacy” was held with the active participation of fourth-year students of the “Ethnology and Anthropology” academic program. The main objective of the event was to enhance young people’s financial literacy, develop skills in personal budgeting, effective planning of income and expenses, accurate assessment of financial risks, and the cultivation of a conscious economic outlook for the future.

During the discussion, students freely expressed their opinions and shared personal experiences in financial management. In addition, specific examples were provided and pressing issues related to credit, savings, investment, and financial responsibility were addressed.

This event is directly linked to Sustainable Development Goal 1 – No Poverty. By improving financial literacy, young people gain the ability to manage their income more effectively, reduce dependence on debt, and broaden their opportunities for achieving socio-economic stability in the future. In this regard, the roundtable represented an important step toward fostering responsible financial behavior among students and preventing poverty.
