Student of KazNU became a bronze medalist

Student of Al-Farabi KazNU Dmitry Balandin became the bronze medalist of the Summer Universiade-2017 in Taipei (Taiwan).
He was third in the final swim at a distance of 100 meters breaststroke, showing time 1 minute and 17 hundredths of a second, losing to swimmers from Belarus and the United States.
Today Dmitry Balandin will take part in the competitions at a distance of 200 meters.
Recall that a fourth-year student D. Balandin won the gold medal of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, becoming the first Olympic swimming champion in the history of Kazakhstan.
