The interaction of universities and the business sector: a standard based on European experience

On February 12, 2020, the Erasmus+ ENINEDU project team presented the Standard and methodological recommendations developed within the framework of the project at the International Round Table “Competency Model of a University Graduate in Modern Conditions”. The round table was organized by the HSEB Management Department and was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as part of the 50th international scientific and methodological conference.

The institutional coordinator of the Erasmus + ENINEDU project, Zhidebekkyzy Aknur, shared her experience of European countries on the interaction between universities and the business sector, as well as encouraged employer partners to familiarize themselves with the Standard and give feedback on its content.

The event is of particular importance because it updates the issues of interaction with the academic structures of Almaty, partner universities from Russia and Belarus, employers and university graduates in developing the competency model of a university graduate.
