Teachers of the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, despite the limited online format of opportunities, conduct international events aimed at popularizing the teaching of Kazakh and Russian languages to foreign students. Another event of this kind was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and was held within the framework of the state program "Рухани жаңғыру".  The results of the International Olympiad in Kazakh and Russian as Foreign Languages held by the teachers of the department were summed up at the event and the winners were announced. Active participants of the XXVII International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Students in Science – the intellectual potential of the future", held within the framework of the VIII International Farabi Readings, were also noted. In conclusion, the students demonstrated their talents by reading poems, singing songs in Kazakh and Russian. With pride and enthusiasm, the students talked about their achievements in mastering the Russian and Kazakh languages and, of course, thanked their teachers...
