Within the framework of the XVI International Book Exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan, a presentation of a collection of poems by the largest thinker of the Turkic world, an outstanding representative of Sufi poetry Yunus Emre, translated into Kazakh, took place.

The cycle of poems is preceded by a foreword by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkey Abzal Saparbekuly entitled “Contribution to Spiritual Revival”. At the solemn ceremony, Mr. Ambassador noted that over 30 years of independence, our country has created a solid foundation for spiritual modernization, literary and cultural ties, as well as political and economic relations between the two states are developing at a high level. He noted that the leaders of the two countries had a positive impact on the formation of brotherhood, friendship and carried out many good deeds in order to strengthen cultural ties.

In particular, one of the prominent representatives of Sufi literature in the Turkic world, the successor of the path of Khoja Ahmed Yasaui, Yunus Emre, left a deep mark in the Kazakh culture, which became an event in the spiritual life of the country. In his report, the poet Kadirbek Kunypiyauly noted that this year marks 700 years since the death of Yunus Emre, in connection with which various events are held in memory of the poet in other Turkic-speaking states. For example, poets from 15 countries gathered in Khiva in Uzbekistan in order to remember the poet's work, to read their own works dedicated to Yunus Emra. At the end of the XIII - beginning of the XIV centuries. in the later stages of the Seljuk state, the Turkish poet glorified Islamic truths. The poetry of the thinker, who wrote about life and death, love and the infinity of the Universe, friendship and enmity, inspires hope not only in the souls of his contemporaries, but also in the hearts of the younger generation.

Writer-translator Malik Otarbayev, who translated the book from the ancient Turkic language, explained that the collection had previously been presented in Kazakhstan, but due to the pandemic a little later the moment came for the Turkish brothers to get acquainted with the book. He also thanked the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkey, which initiated a noble cause within the framework of the Turkestan Declaration adopted by the presidents of the Turkic countries, for the literary processing of Dauletbek Baytursynuly's poems and editing by Kadirbek Kunypiyauly.
