On May 28, 2022, the 61st Chemist's Day was celebrated at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University!

The products of the chemical industry are also diverse: this includes the production of acids, alkalis, mineral fertilizers, and the production of various polymer materials, dyes, household chemicals, lacquers and paints, as well as rubber-asbestos, photochemical and chemical-pharmaceutical products.

For example, every year the Chemist’s Day is held under the symbol of a new element of the Periodic table, and this year the number 61 is assigned to the Chemist’s Day – Promethium, this is a chemical element belonging to the lanthanide group.
