Auezov week. Visit to M.O. Auezov's House-Museum

As a part of the opening of the Auezov Week, the staff of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi KazNU in honor of the the writer,  Mukhtar Auezov's 125th anniversary  organized an excursion for students to the M. Auezov House-Museum, where the writer spent the last ten years of his life. The teachers and students of the department were met by the museum staff. The museum guide,  Saltanat showed the students the  garden planted by M.O. Auezov, then she  made an exursion for the students around  the exhibition hall dedicated to the life and work of the writer. It  was opened specifically for the  writer's centenary. Leaving the exhibition hall, the students visited the writer's two-storey house. Students got acquainted with interesting events from the life of the writer, and also received unforgettable impressions from the excursion to the House-Museum of M.O. Auezov.
