A student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics was named the "Best Mathematician"
An international competition among young mathematicians named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, mathematician, Professor Askar Zhumadildaev was held in Kyzylorda.
Young mathematicians aged 18 to 28 took part in an educational Olympiad among young mathematicians from all regions of the country and neighboring states of Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. More than 1,700 candidates applied for the competition, and 100 participants, selected as the strongest, competed in the competition.
On May 17, the "International competition among young mathematicians named after Askar Zhumadildaev" was completed, dedicated to the development of professional skills of young teachers-mathematicians, increasing the level of knowledge of pupils and students.
According to the results of the competition, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Kazakh National University named after al Farabi Kuanysh Zholdasov took the 1st place and was awarded a special diploma, the nomination "The Best Mathematician" and a gift certificate for 1 million tenge.
