"Climate Justice, Human Rights & Development

In al-Farabi TREASURY the second year of the MDP/Global Classroom/program of the Colombian university ", Human Rights & Development" (Climatic justice, Human rights and Development) begins Climate Justice with support of fund of Mary Robinson for undergraduates in English.
This course is a platform for studying of current trends and practical approaches for the solution of the problems connected with climatic changes in the world, and also questions of a sustainable development, solidarity, partnership and joint participation for all who cares of global justice or represents itself as defenders of justice in the countries rich with resources.

Problems of a role of the states, the international organizations and citizens in the solution of global questions of the present, especially in the field of a sustainable development and prevention of environmental pollution and climatic changes, are in the center of attention of world community more and more. In recent years the international organizations even more often speak about IEG (International Environmental Government) as about new activity of the United Nations and the international structures.

The concept of a sustainable development includes such new questions for mankind as climatic justice, expansion of possibility of the poorest segments of the population of the countries in the world and efforts of the United Nations on fair use of natural resources in the world. The program was supported by Fund of brothers Rokfellerov in Pokantiko in July, 2011. Mary Robinso's (MRFCJ) fund is the center of progressive ideas, education and fight for ensuring global justice for climate change victims in the world.
The previous course «Integrated Approaches to Sustainable Development Practice, 2011» was successfully complete in December, 2011. Undergraduates TREASURY passed training in the Colombian university in January-February, 2012.
The listeners who have successfully graduated by "Climate Justice Human Rights & Development", will receive certificates and can be directed on training to Dublin, Triniti college or to New York, the Colombian university according to the program of the academic mobility.
