KazNU cooperates with the Science Foundation

Chairman of the Board and Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with Chairman of the Board of JSC "Science Foundation" Abdilda Shamenov. Proposals for bilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

The rector told the head of the Science Foundation about the achievements and plans of the university, and also introduced innovative projects developed by KazNU scientists. Also in his speech, the rector noted that in the future KazNU and the Science Foundation should work together as partners.

"Our university successfully continues its scientific and educational activities. Demonstrates intellectual potential not only on a national scale but also at the international level. Today, there are 100 innovative projects developed by university scientists. Currently, work is underway to promote and commercialize scientific projects. Certification centers and institutes of high-tech companies such as Samsung, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, Minolta, Fujitsu, Alcatel, Microsoft, Kaspersky Lab, Huawei, etc. are successfully functioning in the town of KazNU. The educational institution also has student startups developed by young scientists. We must jointly develop university science," the rector said.

In turn, Chairman of the Board of JSC "Science Foundation" Abdilda Shamenov noted the high scientific potential of KazNU and supported all initiatives to establish a partnership.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on joint systematic implementation of initiatives.
