Students of KazNU took part in the international educational program

Students of the 4th year of the Department of mechanics, Faculty of mechanics and mathematics of Al-Farabi kaznu took part in the 2nd international educational program SPINAKER, organized by the University of AGH UST.

Abdidin Alina, Momysh Nazerke, Eldoskyzy Kuralai ,4th year students of the Department of Mechanics took part in the 2nd international educational program SPINAKER, organized by the University of AGH UST in Krakow from December 8 to 18, 2022. The event was attended by 40 students from 10 universities.

The course was held in a modern, non-traditional format. The lectures analyzed the classification of production processes, detailed mechanisms and methods of material removal, types of energy sources used for material removal, operating principles, configuration, equipment, as well as comparative advantages and disadvantages of the selected main processes.As a result, he gave a clear idea of modern processes and their application in specific industrial applications. The lectures were presented by Prof. Sarken Kapayeva (East Kazakhstan State Technical University named after D. Serikbayeva, Kazakhstan) and Prof. Jacek Seslik (AGH UST). During the training period, there was an introduction to Poland - a brief introduction to Polish culture, geography, history, a language class and a tour in Zakopane.The students were provided with scholarships for accommodation in the amount of 5,000 zloty (scholarship: about 1,000 euros). The scholarship was used for: the purchase of an air ticket, living expenses, meals and insurance.
