Cultural events were organized for Teacher's Day

On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, a concert event “My Teacher” was held, organized by students of the UNESCO Department of Journalism and Communication of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Journalism.

         The event was attended by 2nd year students of the specialty “Public Relations” (supervisor-consultant Chingisova N.T.), 3rd year students (supervisor-consultant B.Musaeva) and 2nd year students of the specialty “International Journalism” (supervisor-consultant M.Zhetpisbaeva). There, students sang songs dedicated to their teachers and conveyed good wishes and congratulations. At the same time, a charity fair called “Elderly People are the Treasure of the Country” was held, organized by these groups. Here, homemade baked goods, sweets, drinks and many other products were sold at affordable prices for students. Teachers and students took part in the charity event. Now all funds raised from the fair will be donated to the nursing home on behalf of the students.
