«Key directions of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): problems of implementation»
On October 6, 2023, as part of the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aimed at eliminating poverty and poverty, combating inequality and injustice, as well as protecting the planet and ensuring peace and prosperity for the entire population, Associate Professor of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law Ashyralieva Bayan Sovetbekovna organized a scientific seminar with students 2 courses of the Faculty of Law on the topic: "Key directions of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): problems of implementation". The seminar was attended by representatives of the teaching staff - Associate Professor Kalieva Gulmira Saduakasovna and associate Professor Zhugralina Bakyt Mapashovna. The seminar focused on the analysis and discussion of the most important aspects of the SDGs related to the elimination of social insecurity and inequality (goals – 5.10); maintaining environmental sustainability (goals – 3.13); ensuring high–performance economic growth (goals - 8.9). The seminar participants stressed the need to establish a dialogue between the state, civil society, the business community, international organizations and other stakeholders to ensure their qualitative participation in order to maximize the results of the SDGs.
