"Sustainable Development Goal" №5 "Gender equality"
On October 12, 2023, students of the YUP-312 group of the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University prepared and conducted a scientific event within the framework of the implementation of SDG No. 5 "Sustainable Development Goal" "Gender Equality".
The speaker was a 3rd-year student of the specialty "Jurisprudence" Marsova Gyuzyalnur.
The purpose of the event is to discuss issues related to ensuring gender equality and empowering all women and girls in Kazakhstan and in the world.
Gender equality implies equal career opportunities and political rights, equal participation in public and cultural life, equal status within the family. In addition, gender equality implies the elimination of gender stereotypes, which are still very much in our society.
