A lecture on legal literacy was held in KazNU

A lecture on legal literacy was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The lecturer was Olzhas Myrzabekov, Deputy Head of the Almaty Police Department.

The lecture was devoted to the theme: "Legal literacy of youth as a guarantee of public safety of new Kazakhstan". The lecture came to listen to - teachers, professors of the university, as well as young people studying.

The purpose of the meeting is to improve the legal literacy of young people and the level of trust in law enforcement agencies. 

Dean of the Faculty of Pre-University Education Sabit Suatai told about the successful labor activity of the lecturer - Olzhas Myrzabekov.

"Olzhas Myrzabek is a graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In 2000, he graduated from the institution with a degree in law. In 2018, he graduated from the Eurasian Law Academy named after D.A. Kunayev. D.A. Kunayev Eurasian Law Academy, specializing in "lawyer" and received a degree of "Master of Legal Sciences". He has been working in the internal affairs bodies since September 2000 up to the present time. In different years he has held different positions. Currently works as deputy head of the Police Department of Almaty city", - said the dean.

"The future of Kazakhstan is in the hands of young people.  And today it is important for each person to choose the right profession. At present, a lot of explanatory work is carried out in the country to prevent drugs and compliance with traffic rules. This is the purpose of today's lecture. We want our youth to be educated, well-mannered and avoid bad habits", - said Mr. Olzhas Saparkhanovich.

During the meeting students asked questions to the lecturer and received answers. The lecture was organized by the Faculty of pre-university education of KazNU.
