State support for small and medium-sized businesses

In September 2023, a regular meeting of the commission on the selection of applicants for grants for the implementation of new business ideas of the city of Almaty was held. Gulmira Toktasynovna Esengeldieva, Senior Lecturer of the Economics Department of the HSE Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, is a member of the commission. The task of the commission is to fairly distribute gratuitous state grants for entrepreneurial initiatives. A large number of interesting business ideas from active and enterprising people were proposed. Our state supports business and gives everyone the opportunity to find their favorite business.

Yesengeldieva G.T., acting as an expert from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, helps applicants for a grant with business advice.

The task of the state with the help of this grant is to enable the population to find a decent job (SDG 8), and thereby ensure the economic growth of a sustainable city (SDG 16). And also this program is one of the effective institutions in solving the employment of the population of the city of Almaty.
