International scientific relations of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature

 From 16 to 21 October, 2023 senior lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Yerkingul Soltanayeva was on a business trip in Kyrgyzstan  within the framework of  "Universal values in the translation of Alash figures’s works" AP19679312 project. She worked in the Central State Archive and in  the Central State Archive of Socio-Political Documentation. On October 19-20, she took part in the I International Symposium: "Translation and its Future", which was held at  Manas  Kyrgyz-Turkish University, where she  made a report on the topic:  "Principles of translating  Alash figures’s works". https://www.manas.edu.kg/ru/index.php 

Also within the framework of "The history of Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Uzbek, Azerbaijani and Turkmen literature during the period of independence" International project  she got acquainted with   the results of the work done jointly with scholars  from these countries. The project participants shared their views on the literary ties of modern Turkic peoples, new trends in literature and translation.  The participants  discussed further plans for beneficial and successful cooperation in the field of literary studies.
