SDG - 4 Quality education - a quality future
On October 27, 2023, the teaching staff of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law and 2nd-year undergraduates held a scientific webinar «Quality education - a quality future» within the framework of SDG-4.
The purpose of the scientific webinar is to ensure fair and high-quality education.
According to SDG-4, «Education lays the foundation for improving people's socio-economic living conditions and plays a key role in ensuring a way out of poverty. Over the past decade, significant progress has been made in expanding access to education and increasing school enrolment at all levels, in particular for girls. Despite this, in 2018, about 260 million children still did not go to school, which is almost a fifth of the entire world population of this age group. In addition, more than half of all children and adolescents around the world do not meet the minimum standards of knowledge in the field of reading and mathematics».
Deep knowledge and science is the way of development of the state. Education is the values by which science contributes to the development of the state at the social level. In this regard, the President instructed the Government to increase the salaries of teachers and cultural workers who work tirelessly for the benefit of the upbringing and education of the younger generation.
The new Kazakhstan is an educated youth, new scientific achievements and reforms. To be recognized, the state must be strong, and for this, young people need to be educated and creative. Armed with advanced knowledge, our youth should participate in the construction of a New Kazakhstan at all stages. A new Kazakhstan in a new world can be formed only by competitive youth, professionals, qualified scientists who are proficient in their profession.
