KazNU alumna wins startup projects competition
Aziza Aytekina, a graduate of Al-Farabi KazNU, won the competition of startup projects organized by the Office of Commercialization of the University together with JAS Ventures Almaty within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation.
On April 18, 2023 a memorandum of cooperation and interaction between "KazNU named after Al-Farabi" and "JAS Ventures Almaty" was concluded.
As a result of selection of the most promising projects, the organizers of the program invited 11 projects of KazNU and 55 projects of other universities. The joint incubation program was passed 35 projects, 6 of which were implemented by young scientists of KazNU.
On the final Demo Day there was a ceremony of awarding certificates of successful completion of the program, with the participation of all managers of startups that passed the business incubation program.
The winner of the incubation program was recognized as the project "Aitekit", which was inspired by Aziza Aytekina, a graduate of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of KazNU named after Al-Farabi. She is currently studying in Italy.
The young scientist has developed treatments for acne and other skin conditions, providing clients with innovative skin microbiome analyses and personalized cosmetic products tailored to the unique needs of patients.
