Boost your resume. How to write a successful resume for a job

The Department of Economics at the Higher School of Economics and Business, as part of the implementation of the SDGs, organized a guest lecture with the participation of Oleg Zotov, HR Director of the SMALL company, on the topic: “Boost your resume. How to write a successful resume for a job” (SDG 4 SDG 17 SDG 9)

The purpose of the lecture was not only to introduce the company and its activities but also to provide students with valuable tips about the job search process, as well as how to write a compelling resume. Collaboration between educational institutions and employers is a key factor in the success and prosperity of educational institutions and students. This is the way to ensure the relevance of educational programs, improve the quality of education, and ensure that our graduates will be in demand in the labor market. Our task is not only to generate knowledge, but also to develop skills that employers value. Therefore, cooperation with domestic companies is our integral task and responsibility to future specialists and society.

At the lecture, the speaker shared the experience and knowledge that he accumulated while working in the field of human resources. He began by introducing SMALL and describing its activities, which helped students understand the context and characteristics of the company. The dialogue then moved smoothly to a discussion of key aspects of the job search, emphasizing that one of the main elements in the job search process is the resume. A resume is the first contact with a potential employer, and therefore it should be informative and professional, noted Oleg Zotov.
