Energy transition and technological sovereignty of modern Russia

Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the Institute of Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Shirov delivered a report "Energy transition and technological sovereignty of modern Russia" at the І International Scientific Conference "New way of decarbonization of economy (KZGT-2023)".

The problems of greenhouse gas emissions in the world are considered by the scientist in connection with the economy. This topic is relevant in the framework of the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-17) and unites the countries of the world in the context of global environmental challenges, man-made and natural disasters. 
Since 2014, Al-Farabi KazNU University is the Global Hub of the UN Academic Impact program on sustainable development and is actively working to promote the principles and initiatives of the UN and UNESCO.
