Round table on the topic: «Social integration of internal migrants in Kazakhstan»

On Oktober 13th, 2023 at the Department of Sociology and Social Work of Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi held a round table on the topic: “Social integration of internal migrants in Kazakhstan” as a part of the implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Settlements) and following the results of a scientific project of grant funding from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The event was attended by students, master’s students, doctoral students and teachers of KazNU named after al-Farabi, representative of the Almatygenplan Research Institute and the public. The organizers of this event are PhD, senior lecturer of the Department of Sociology and Social Work Serikzhanova S.S. and senior lecturer of the Department of Sociology and Social Work Aryn D.A. introduced the key issues of the SDG concept. During the event, participants made presentations and exchanged views on current issues regarding the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 11 in the country.
