A meeting was held with Marchin Gurnikevich and Pavel Stavage

On November 20, 2023, at the Department of International Relations, a meeting was held with Marchin Gurnikevich (Marcin Górnikiewicz) and Pavel Stavage (Paweł Stawarz) during which the issues of cooperation in the field of education, science, academic mobility were discussed. Representatives of the Military-Technical Academy named after Yaroslav Dombrovsky (Warsaw, Poland) expressed interest in cooperation with the Department of International Relations of KazNU named after Al-Farabi, signing a bilateral agreement on academic mobility, deepening ties with Kazakh scientists in the framework of joint project research.

Polish scientist Pavel Stawarz (Paweł Stawarz) devoted a lecture to the topic of his research: «Poland’s policy towards Central Asia in the context of the EU Strategy for Central Asia and the Chinese One Belt and Road Strategy». The ensuing discussion, the many questions of the students to the Polish guests and the desire for new meetings testify to the prospects for further cooperation. This was discussed by Dean of the Department of International Relations Delovarova L.F., the head of the Department of International Relations and World Economy Baikushikova G.S., and Director of the Center of German Studies Professor Gubaidullina M.Sh.
