The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Museum

On December 12, 2023, as part of the implementation of the UN SDG No. 3 "GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING", teachers of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics Mukhamadieva G.N. and Tagaybek K.T. together with students of group 305 visited the Al-Farabi Museum, located in the library of our university, to popularize modern national culture and spiritual values. The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Museum is a scientific, informational, cognitive, educational department of the university, competitive in Kazakhstan and at the world level, instilled with cultural and historical values of its country, educating strong-minded humanitarian specialists. The main goal is to preserve and popularize the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of our people, to popularize achievements in the field of education and science. The University Museum has been operating since 1989. 20 years later, extensive restoration work was carried out, and the opening of the new museum took place on October 13, 2009 in honor of the 75th anniversary of the university. The museum area is 1000 sq. m. in 3 halls "Gallery of the History of M.", "Hall of Fame", "sustainable development of the University", the history of the university's creation is systematically collected in 120 showcases, more than 5 thousand historically valuable and rare documents are presented in museum exhibits.

The purpose of the department in the implementation of this project was the popularization of modern Kazakh culture in the world, the popularization of national culture, sacred spiritual values, achievements in the field of education and science, wide acquaintance of students.
