KazNU and Xinjiang Physical and Chemical Technical Institute became partners

The Research Center for Medicinal Plants at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Xinjiang Physical and Chemical Technical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the People's Republic of China signed a memorandum of cooperation.

On the basis of this agreement the center of KazNU and the Institute of China will jointly train young scientists.

The memorandum will allow to exchange experience in scientific direction, implement joint innovation projects, expand the material and technical base of production.

According to the Director of the Research Center of Medicinal Plants, Professor Zhanar Zhenis, the agreement will give a new impetus to the expansion of bilateral ties and the opening of new opportunities.

"Currently, two researchers of our center are studying at this institute. After graduation, they will continue their work. In the future, we intend to send another researcher to study at the Chinese Institute to gain experience. Our center has established close relations with Xinjiang Physical and Chemical Technical Institute. Thus, in November 2019, we opened the "Kazakhstan-China Medicines Laboratory" in the Research Center of Medicinal Plants together with Xinjiang Physical and Chemical Technical Institute," says Zhanar Zhenis.

It should be noted that the Research Center and the Institute plan to organize an international conference on scientific direction on the basis of KazNU.
