On 2 February, 2024, within the framework of the project “Sustainable Development" the 1st-year master’s students of Foreign Philology major, Aidarkulova Sh.A. and Aluakas Z.E., and group advisor Torekhanova R.A. at the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies of the Faculty of Philology conducted an demo lesson with the 1st-year students of “6B02304-Translation Studies” major on the topic “ Good health and well-being ”. The purpose of the open educational hour was to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people. The educational lesson was held in an interactive form, and 12 students took part in it. During the lesson, the students openly expressed their thoughts and actively participated. The participants were divided into 2 groups. They created a cluster on good and bad habits affecting health, did various interactive tasks with the help of new technologies. In addition, the students were told how the establishment of a single time zone in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan from March 1, 2024 will affect human health. The lesson reached its goal.
