"Shortage of drinking water in the village»
On February 13, 2024, at 11.00 in auditorium 310, the Department of Civil Law and civil procedure, labor law on the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals "Shortage of drinking water in the village." Held a scientific seminar on the topic:" The speaker of this event was the senior teacher Saparbekova Z.S.
"The problem of water, which has become the main problem of many countries, is also an urgent topic for Kazakhstan, where the kermiyk steppe is becoming deserterized. After all, in the 1950s in Kazakhstan 120 billion. there are about 100 billion cubic meters of water reserves. there are also assumptions that the Cube was reduced to a meter.
Experts attribute the decrease in such water reserves to the fact that our rivers are transboundary, and the countries where water originates are also increasing the volume of water use. This is because the eternal glaciers on the peaks of the Pamirs and Tien Shan have decreased by 30 percent compared to 1957, and by 2025 they will decrease by 50 percent. Such global warming can ultimately lead to massive droughts, flooding of water channels in Central Asia, including Kazakhstan. If we analyze this urgent problem from this point of view, we will see that in fact the country's drinking water directly depends on the waterways in Russia, China, Central Asia."
The speaker and the teaching staff of the department are well aware that the influence of the Syrdarya River is too high.
Another feature of this region is that it consumes more than 30% of the Republic's irrigation water in providing the domestic market with rice. And the main feature of rice is that from 90 to 110 days of standing in water, the grain is tied and ripened. That is, a crop that requires a lot of water. We often hear opinions that in reducing water scarcity, it is necessary to reduce the volume of rice. Of course, saving water is important. However, without rice, the ecological situation in the Kyzylorda region will deteriorate, the soil will become salty and turn into an "unsuitable Oasis". After all, if the strong salinization of the cheese soil is not washed out by sowing rice, then the chances of obtaining a crop from other crops in super-salty soil are very low. He shared practical advice and recommendations that the crop rotation system will also go out of circulation due to the continuous course of soil salinization.
The seminar was a great opportunity for the participants to exchange experience, express their opinions and defend the rights of people with disabilities, discuss. The event also contributed to the strengthening of interaction between students and teachers, creating a favorable learning and research environment.
