On February 15, 2024, at the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law, a scientific seminar was held on the topic: "Rating of transparency of companies" within the framework of the implementation of the UN SDGs (16.6 To create effective, accountable and transparent institutions at all levels by 2030). The 1st year undergraduate student, Daueshova Nazerke Zhubaidollakyzy, acted as a speaker. The scientific seminar and discussion were moderated by the head of the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Suleimenova S.Zh.
Together with the students, they analyzed the criteria of transparency standards: information about the company, corporate governance, sustainable development, communications, quality and completeness of reporting, and also, special attention was paid to the analysis company websites and public communications.
For the first time, a tool has appeared on the market that allows, based on an understandable international methodology, to assess the overall level of transparency of companies and their compliance with certain transparency criteria.
