Guest lecture was held with a specialist from the ARDFM Rinat Maidanov

On February 24, 2024 at 12:00 p.m., within the framework of goal 8 “Decent work and economic growth” with the participation of the teaching staff of the department of “Finance and Accounting”, candidate of economic sciences Asilova A. S. and 3rd year students of the specialty “Finance” was a guest lecture was held with a specialist from the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, Rinat Maidanov, on the topic “Risks arising in the financial market” in the discipline “Financial Risks”. The lecture discussed the practical significance and relevance of assessing and managing risks in the Kazakh stock market. At the lecture by Mr. Maydanov Rinat, students showed interest in the topic and asked questions of interest to them. During the discussion of the topic students turned to financier Rinat Maidanov with a question:

“What type of risk is most common and prevalent in the financial market today?”.

Rinat Maidanov noted that credit risk and country risk are the most common types of risks, and noted that many measures are currently being taken to combat this credit risk. Currency risk and price risk are also some of the most persistent risks in the stock market. And also to the question: “Which type of risk do you recommend as the most effective broker in the financial market?”,  “It is better to first choose each broker to your taste, comparing and analyzing,” - he expressed his opinion.

Students learned new ideas from Mr. Rinat Maidanov's lecture and memorized those that can be applied in practice. At the end of the lecture, the students explained that the topic of risks faced in the financial market is a topic that interests them and is one of the most relevant today.
