On February 28, 2024, doctoral students of the 1st year of the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies held an intellectual game Brain Ring at the faculty. The participants were undergraduates of the 1st year of the faculty, they formed teams of 4-6 people.
Undergraduates of the 1st year of pedagogical history formed two teams called them "Google" and "Wikipedia", and undergraduates of scientific history - "Trojan Horse" and undergraduates of archival and documentary studies "Antivirus".
All the questions were taken from the Brain Ring game database. The teams played all the games against each other. The result of the game is Trojan Horse - 1st place (8 points), Wikipedia - 2nd place (7 points), Google - 3rd place (6 points) and Antivirus - 4th place (4 points). Monetary rewards from 15 thousand to 5 thousand tenge were provided for each place.
The game was attended by faculty teachers and at the end of the game there was a suggestion from the participants regarding future games.
