Seminar-meeting on the issue of combating corruption

January 26, 2024 Employees of Compliance Control Service of Al-Farabi KazNU took part in the seminar-meeting: "Consolidation of public and youth organizations in combating corruption", organized by Almaty city branch of the Republican Public Association "Nationwide Movement against Corruption "JANARU".

This event was held within the framework of the Social Project "Implementation of a set of measures to improve legal literacy of young people and the level of trust in law enforcement agencies" implemented by the Republican Public Association "JANARU".

The seminar was attended by representatives of state and law enforcement agencies, compliance specialists of higher educational institutions, public figures, media representatives, students, activists of "JANARU".

The event was moderated by Mr. Boris Zhaparov, Director of Almaty City Branch of the Republican Public Association "Nationwide Movement Against Corruption "JANARU", Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor.

In the course of the meeting, approaches in the work on consolidation of public and youth organizations in the fight against corruption were discussed, it was pointed out the need to improve the legal literacy of young people and the level of trust in law enforcement agencies.

As a result of the seminar it was determined that it is necessary to prepare proposals for city-level government agencies on anti-corruption issues on behalf of the Almaty City Branch of "JANARU".
