On February 28, 2024, a meeting took place at the Faculty of International Relations with the Cultural Attaché of the Italian Embassy in Kazakhstan, the director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Almaty, Edoardo Crisafulli, faculty leadership, and students studying Italian. The initiator of the meeting was Lucia Beltrami, an Italian language teacher at the Faculty of International Relations.
During the meeting, there were discussed a lot of topics: prospects for cooperation, organizing an international scientific-methodological conference, hosting an Italian week, and the importance of cultural diplomacy in fostering mutual understanding between people.

Students attentively listened to Edoardo Crisafulli, asked questions, and decided to establish a Speaking Club open to all interested individuals.
