Considering that our country is in a seismically active zone, as well as the possibility of a devastating earthquake in Almaty, it is very important to have skills of behavior during an earthquake, the basics of first aid to victims after a disaster. The 2nd year students of the Faculty of Medicine and Public Health of the specialty "Public Health" conducted trainings and worked out practical behavior skills before, on time and after the earthquake. Students actively discussed the rules of behavior during disasters, preparation, collection and contents of the "alarm case". During these trainings, the participants practiced a safe position in case of an earthquake, evacuation routes from the university building, and providing medical and psychological assistance to victims. The students assessed the danger and risks of various disasters, unanimously decided to inform neighbors, relatives and acquaintances about the rules of behavior in case of an earthquake.
